Flag of Barbados
The flag of Barbados is very sacred and is full of meaning. The left blue stripe is to symboliza the sky. The yellowy-gold stripe in the middle is to identify sand. The right blue strip identifies the sea. The trident in the middle represents the Barbados independence from the British. Each point symbolizes three values and beliefs of democracy.
Religious Beliefs
Religion plays a massive part in Barbados. It's known for being full with energy and spirituality. As it is in most countires Christianity is one of the most practiced religions in Barbados. However, many non-Catholic religions are also practiced in Barbados and are respectfully acknowledged. Citizens are allowed to follow any faith they wish.
Political Information
The current Govenor General is Elliot Belgrave and the current Prime Minister is Freundel Stuart. The political beliefs are that all residents in Barbados have their own religious rights. However, that religion must be practiced respectfully. There is a mutual comprehension which advises tolerance.
